I’m outside reheating the oil from the turkey fryer to make some donuts. A bit chilly, but not too bad.

tearing apart my daughters room as she stole $500 (aka my emergency cash stash... found out coz i needed some emergency cash was a bit shocked to only find a 50 in there)

so far managed to get about 200 back by returning shit to the shops she got it from... starting to look like she blew the rest on sweets and drinks...

needless to say.. shes in a world of shit right now

oh.. it really does.. im seething here... she’s pretty much lost her independence over this.... no more home alones... no more trips to town without us... missus stopped me from dragging her ass to the cops... so she can thank her lucky stars for that.

i made it pretty bloody clear she is on notice now tho

Took Christmas tree off longroof, replaced it with a cat.

Later, decorating the tree, putting up lights, then watching the Auburn-Alabama game. For non-SEC people, just imagine the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup finals, and World Series Game 7 all at the same time to get an idea of the fervor around this. Tickets were around $500 the other day. To watch amateur 20-year-olds play a game.

Running errands in my golf. My family left and went back to NC. I’ve been appointed as a board member of a subunit of my city that’s made up of other high school seniors who are politically minded to give advice to the crusty old politicians. I’ve gotta send some emails for that and prep for my confirmation. Then I might meet my girlfriend at the movies. I’m also finishing cleaning my family’s yard for winter and doing some stuff to our house.

You chuck the pellets in hot oil then they puff, after that you get them out to dry. Lovely things, really. Goes quite well with rice.

The record would probably go away when she turned 18. I still think it was the right call for this incident. The idea being to reform her, it’s best if you can maintain some semblance of trust with her. I think if she does it a third time, maybe get them involved, but that’s a bit of a nuclear option.

lol.. this was the third time... but the previous 2 were small amounts.. (not counting the times she’s raided the penny jar or pocketed some of the change i left out)

this time she took the effort to search our bedroom(she’s also in the shit for that... because of limits) for the cash stash and then raided it for nearly a month before i happened to need some cash and found out..

its a very different animal from just grabbing the cash on impulse.

but tbh...you’re probably right.... shit better not happen again tho
